India’s whopping 156% increase in app downloads was the highest globally with 58 million new active users—roughly the size of Italy’s population. Second in line, the Middle East and North Africa region saw a 55% jump, followed by a 47% increase in Asia-Pacific.

Daily Active Users Increased 24% in Early 2020

With the majority of lockdowns beginning in March 2020, daily health and fitness app users increased by 24% globally between Q1 and Q2.
