  • Our Providers set their own rates. You are free to choose the option best suited to you.

  • All calls are scheduled for 30 minutes. The full 30-minute allocation may not always be necessary, but we want to make sure you and the provider don’t feel rushed and have enough time to come up with a plan for your health goals.

  • The earliest possible timeslot you will be able to book a telehealth appointment for is at least 2 hours ahead of the current time.

  • Yes, currently we can only treat people 18+ via telehealth.

  • We currently do not. If you need those services, please seek out an in-person provider.

  • While our providers can treat the most common issues, there are conditions that we don’t treat. Please see an in-person doctor or hospital if you experience any of the following:

    • Chest pain and/or numbness
    • Traumatic brain or spinal cord injury
    • Coughing blood
    • Lacerations
    • Loss of consciousness
    • Broken bones
    • Severe burns
    Our providers are unable to write prescriptions for controlled substances such as codeine or oxycodone. Please see a doctor in person if you require medication classified as a controlled substance.

  • You can book an appointment with a Medical Provider, Mental Health Provider, Registered Dietitian, or Personal Trainer.

  • Yes, telehealth is only available via paid subscription.

  • Yes, you can refill prescriptions via our platform. That said, our providers can’t write prescriptions for controlled substances.

  • A standard high-speed connection should be adequate for any virtual visit.

  • Unfortunately, once the call is completed there is no further communication available from you to the provider.

  • Yes, you will be given the opportunity to select the pharmacy of your choice.

  • We currently do not accept insurance.

  • We accept all major debit and credit cards.

  • That is not currently a service offered by our medical providers.

  • We plan on offering this in the future, but as it stands that is not part of the service. You can order labs through a 3rd party like AnyLabTestNow or UltaLabs and enter the results into your health record prior to a telehealth appointment if you wish to discuss the results with a medical provider.

  • All providers go through a multistep process to become telehealth providers on the Modo Bio platform. This involves an application, review process, and a live (video or phone) interview with a member of the Modo Bio leadership team. State Licenses are verified for proof of licensure as well as expiration status (when applicable). NPI numbers are verified via a national database (when applicable). DEA numbers are intelligent numbers that are validated by checking various aspects of the intelligent number (when applicable). In addition, these providers are trained to the standards set forth by Modo Bio to ensure continuity of your telehealth experience.

  • Yes, you can book with the same provider for a follow-up appointment. There is not an automatic process to do this, but when booking your follow-up appointment, you can simply search for the same provider.

  • On the app, go to the connect tab to view any scheduled telehealth appointments. Future telehealth appointments will be shown as a card on the top of the screen. Press the vertical ellipses button which will show you an option to cancel the appointment. Cancelling within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in you being charged for that appointment. To avoid this late cancellation change, please cancel outside of the 24-hour cancellation window.

  • You can include text, photos and leave a voice memo to help clearly describe what you would like to achieve during your appointment.


  • Once you’ve downloaded and opened the app, you’ll be guided through sign-up.

  • No, you do not. Your friends and family can add you to their Team and share their health data with you for free.

  • A subscription is $9.99 per month or $97.99 annually.

  • With a membership, you can sync your Apple Watch, Fitbit, or Oura Ring. You can also store your electronic health records. You can then book telehealth calls via our network of health and wellness providers. These providers will help you use your health data to accomplish your goals. You’ll also be able to create a Team consisting of providers and friends and family.

  • The Modo Bio app and platform were built with industry best practices including data encryption in transit and at rest. This was all put in place to ensure your privacy and protect your data.


  • We currently support Apple Watch, Fitbit and the Oura Ring.

  • We will be expanding our list of compatible devices, sign up to our mailing list for updates.

  • Data will take up to 24 hours to sync.

  • Please make sure you are using a supported device. If you are, our support team is standing by to help you.

  • You can share your wearable data with anyone you choose on our platform. That said, you are also free to restrict the amount of information you share, and you can revoke permissions at any time for any reason you see fit. You have complete control.

  • Yes, Modo Bio puts your privacy and data protection as a top priority. You own your health data and have complete control over who you share this data with and which parts of your health data they can access. Modo Bio does not sell data to third parties and the app was also built with industry best practices including data encryption in transit and at rest. This was all put in place to ensure your privacy and protect your data.

Electronic Health Records

  • You can store your medical history which includes your family medical history, social history, and sexual history. You can also upload past diagnostic imaging, input lab results and any blood pressure readings.

  • Yes, you can share your health records with anyone you choose if they are on your team. You are also free to restrict or revoke access for any reason at any time.
